Plans, billing and closing the company

Dit onderwerp is nog niet beschikbaar in uw taal; de Engelse tekst wordt getoond.

A plan is the size of your company. It sets how many people it takes, how much storage comes with it and which features are open. One subscription covers your company in every app of the family it chooses, and a person is paid for once, whichever apps they use. Every figure is on the pricing page, on our website and at intactapps.com; this topic says how the pieces fit and where to change them.

The plans

  • Free: one person, for trying it out and for occasional work. Small limits: a few reports a month, a little storage, and our line at the foot of each PDF.
  • Solo: one person, an independent technician or consultant, with no limit on reports.
  • Team: a small company. Three people are included, up to ten.
  • Business: an established company. Ten people are included, up to fifty. The Operations module, your own portal domain and single sign-on come with it.
  • Enterprise: fifty people and more, and groups of companies, agreed with us. Choose Talk to us on the plan page.

Every plan is priced in US dollars, the same in every country, before tax. Paddle adds the sales tax or VAT due for your country and issues the invoice.

What counts, and what never does

A person is a member of staff: an owner, admin, technician, reviewer, planner or supervisor, and each invitation still waiting for an answer. Each is paid for once, however many apps they open and however many companies of a group they work in. Beyond the people a plan includes, each further person costs one price, on Team and Business.

These never count and are never limited: client portal users, crew members, clients and projects. Give every client as many logins as they want.

Apps, storage and the year

  • Apps. Each app of the family has its own price on each plan, and each further app on your order costs less: the dearest is charged in full, the second is cheaper, the third cheaper still, and so on. Any app can be bought alone. Everyone in the company opens every app the subscription holds.
  • Storage comes with the plan and is bought in blocks beyond it. The dashboard's Storage card shows what is used, and the plan page shows what you have in all.
  • A year costs ten months. A subscription is monthly or yearly as a whole: the plan, the people, the storage and the add-ons together.

The trial, and the free plan

A company that signs up spends fourteen days on Team, with no card asked for. Owners and admins see the days left in a bar on every page, with Choose a plan; the owners are emailed two days before the end. When it ends and nothing has been bought, the company moves to Free: everyone keeps their access, every report stays readable and verifiable, and new work follows Free's limits. Nothing is lost.

Your plan and billing page

Owners open Settings, Plan and billing. The same page is at intactapps.com/plan, whichever app your company uses. It shows:

  • Your plan: the plan, the apps you hold, and how much of the plan is in use: seats, reports this month and storage.
  • Subscription: Active, Trial, Payment overdue, Paused or Cancelled; whether it is billed monthly or yearly; and when it renews or ends.
  • Invoices, card and cancelling, which opens your billing portal at Paddle, our merchant of record. Card details, invoices and cancelling live there, never in NDT Intact.

A company in a group sees instead that it is billed through the group's billing company, and the plan is changed from there.

Putting an order together

Under Choose a plan you put the order together, and the server prices it as you go:

  1. Billed: Monthly, or Yearly, two months free.
  2. Apps: tick the apps of the family you want. Each shows its own price alone on the plan, and the summary shows the discount each further app gets.
  3. Plan: Solo, Team or Business, with the people and storage each includes.
  4. People: One more or One fewer, within what the plan takes. The page says how many hold a seat now, invitations included.
  5. More storage, in blocks.
  6. Operations module, where the plan does not include it, and Further companies in your group on Business.

Your order lists each line and the total a month or a year, before tax. A personal organisation is for one person: to choose a plan for a team, turn it into a company first in Settings, Organisation.

Paying at Paddle

Go to checkout opens Paddle's checkout in the page. Paddle takes the payment, keeps the card and issues the invoice; your card details never reach NDT Intact. When the checkout is done, the plan changes here within a moment, and a person you have just paid for can be invited at once. If nothing opens, allow scripts from paddle.com and try again.

Changing the subscription

Later, the same page opens as Change your subscription. Change what you like and choose See what this change costs: the page shows what Paddle charges now, or credits against your next bill, for what is left of the period you have paid for, and what each period costs from then on. Only then does Change the subscription make it. Undo puts the order back as it is.

Adding an app is always possible. Taking one out is possible once in thirty days.

When a change is refused

  • The last payment did not go through. Update the card in the billing portal first; the subscription can be changed once it is paid.
  • The subscription renews within half an hour. Change it once the renewal has gone through, so the two never cross.
  • More people hold seats than the new order takes. Deactivate someone or withdraw an invitation first.
  • An app was taken out less than thirty days ago. Another can be taken out once the thirty days are up.

Cancelling

Cancel in Paddle's billing portal, from Invoices, card and cancelling. The subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for; the page says so. Then the company moves to Free: everyone keeps their access, every report stays readable and verifiable, the portal and share links stay open, and new work follows Free's limits until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted.

Add-ons: the Operations module and groups

The Operations module (jobs, crews and timesheets your client signs, with unlimited crew members) is included in Business and is bought as an add-on on Solo and Team, on the same order. Once it is on your subscription, an owner switches it on in Settings, Operations.

A group of several legal entities, each a company of its own on one bill, is bought on Business as Further companies in your group and is included in Enterprise. A person holds one seat across the group.

Limits, and what happens at them

  • People. When every seat is taken, the Team page says so and no invitation goes out until someone is deactivated, an invitation is withdrawn, or an owner adds a person on the plan page; the invitation can then go out at once.
  • Reports a month, on Free. When the month's reports are used up, a new report cannot be started: the page says to ask for a bigger plan or to start it next month. Reports already started are unaffected.
  • Storage. An upload is refused once it would go beyond your storage. The dashboard's Storage card and the plan page show what is used; project files, issued PDFs and documents read by AI all count.
  • AI. Each plan has a monthly allowance of AI use; Settings, AI shows how much of it your company has used. See AI.

Exporting everything

Owners open Settings, Data and region. Export everything builds a ZIP of every record your company holds, one file per table, ready for another system or your archive; tick Include the stored files to add the report PDFs, scan data and uploads, which can make it very large. Choose Build an export; when it is ready, Download it. The export is kept for seven days. Secrets, such as API tokens, are left out.

The same page shows the hosting region where your files are kept. It is chosen at sign-up and is fixed once files are stored; write to us if you need to move.

Closing the company

An owner closes the company at the foot of Settings, Data and region, with their password. Two things must be done first: cancel the subscription, so none stands; and, if this company bills a group with others in it, take the other companies out of the group. Take the export first, because nobody can afterwards.

The moment it is closed, its workspace, client portal, share links and API stop answering, and its people lose access to it while keeping their own accounts for their other companies. Its issued reports can still be checked on their verification pages, which say the company has closed. For ninety days the company can be reopened as it was: write to support. After that, its data is deleted once the retention period ends.

Closing your own account, rather than the company, is on your account page; see account and security.
