  • intactapps.com, each app's part in balance. Who an app is for and its languages now sit with its words, beside the picture, and the two are centred on each other, so no empty space is left next to a tall picture.
  • NDT Interval in 21 languages. intactapps.com now says so: it no longer says English for now.

  • Fewer words on every screen. Pages, forms and dialogs no longer carry a line of explanation under each heading and field, so what you work with comes first. What a page must tell you stays: figures that are indicative, drafts AI made for you to check, what your clients do not see, and warnings before a step that cannot be undone. The question mark beside Jump to… opens the help for the page you are on. Labels no longer say "(optional)".
  • Our websites, in fewer words. The NDT Intact website and intactapps.com say each thing once. On the NDT Intact website, each part of the tour is a heading and one sentence beside the screen, the heading leading to the details on the features page. On intactapps.com, each app shows its role, its one line and what it does not do, with everything it does on its own page. Plans, prices and the invitation forms are unchanged, and the home page of intactapps.com no longer scrolls sideways on a phone.
  • Asking for an invitation, answered on the page. The form thanks you there, and the first mail you receive from us is the invitation itself. The mail that used to answer the form is no longer sent, since anyone could type a stranger's address into it.

For companies with the optional competency or equipment assurance module switched on:

  • Authorisations on the report. Under each signer's certificates, the report prints what your company had authorised them to do in its method when they signed: level, technique, the client or project it covers, its dates, and its restrictions in your own words. In every language of the report.
  • Calibration releases on the report. Under each instrument, the report says whether a person released its calibration for use, when and by whom, or that nobody did; and the results a release went over.
  • The same on the verification page behind the report's QR code, in the visitor's language, without names.
  • In the handover dossier, whether each signer's certificates had been verified when they signed, their authorisations, and the calibration releases, as each issued report recorded them.
  • Told when an instrument is reviewed. When a review of an item's past use is opened, the examiners and reviewers of the reports it lists get one email each, in their own language: which item, what was found, their reports it lists, and that a responsible person will assess each one. A report found when the review is looked at again brings its people in too; nobody hears twice.
  • Certificates read by AI. On a person's competency page, upload their certificate or card: AI reads each certification on it, and you check every row against the document before it goes into the register. Entering a certificate this way does not verify it.
  • Calibration results read by AI. Under a calibration on an instrument's assurance page, upload its certificate: AI reads each result, with a limit only where the certificate states one. You check and record the rows you keep; recording them never releases the calibration.

Reports issued earlier are unchanged and print as they always have.

And on the modules' own pages:

  • A check says when nothing is missing. A person's suitability check reads "No gaps against the recorded requirements" even beside a note such as a restriction, and an instrument's "Fit for use" says nothing stands in the way when it only notes custody or a restriction. A missing authorisation for a project or a client says which: "No project authorisation in force covers this work."
  • Calibration results as you typed them: 1.2 %, not 1.200000 %, each value on one line with its unit.
  • Each decision starts afresh. Once a calibration is released or rejected, its note is cleared, so a rejection's reason is never sent with a later release; once an item's service status changes, the form offers the other status.

  • The desktop app for Mac. Every app of the family your company holds in one window, signed in once with your account. Download it from Desktop app in your menu; Windows follows.
  • Backups to your own computer. In the desktop app, owners and admins choose a folder and a schedule for each company, weekly on every plan and daily or hourly on paid plans. Each run keeps the company's records and files as plain folders, checked against their fingerprints, readable without any software of ours. Every run is on the company's record: Settings > Data shows each device's last run, and the dashboard says when one did not complete.
  • Your devices. Settings > Your account lists the computers signed in with your account through the desktop app, and lets you remove one.
  • Backups for every app (the desktop app, version 0.2.2). Each app your company holds is backed up on its own, with its own schedule and its own folder: NDT Intact, Weld Intra, NDT Interval, NDT Insonify and NDT Infer. Each opens in the desktop app already signed in, and an installed app updates itself when you quit it.

  • Help, everywhere. A question mark beside Jump to… opens the help on the page you are on: every part of NDT Intact explained, from your first report to the Operations module, with a search. The same pages are on our website, in every language, to read before signing in or to send to a colleague.
  • What the statuses mean. One page sets out the words of the tracker, the scope of work, the marks from the field and the reports, what each comes from, and how to read them side by side. What do these mean? on the tracker and on a weld's page opens it.
  • Help and Write to support are two items in your menu now; the help topics are in Jump to… too.
  • The tracker says what the field found. Under a weld's status: "inspected in the field, report owed" or "rejected in the field, report owed"; the Scope column reads "1 of 3 inspections met".
  • Five project tabs, and More. Overview, Scope of work, Tracker, Files and the new Requests tab stay in view; Drawings, Welders, Thickness, Sheets and Handover dossiers are behind More.
  • Raise a request from the Requests page, choosing the project first.
  • Make me a technician. An owner or admin who cannot start a report because they lack the role gives it to themselves from the note, in one click.
  • The report's way on at the top of the page: sign and issue, send for review or approve as one button in the header, with what the checks found counted beside it.
  • Clearer words: "Add a weld or TML" instead of "Add a joint", "Scope: 1 of 7 lines done" on an asset, and the starting dialog says what it fills in.
  • The Activity page no longer goes blank after a status change, a file move or an end date, and names the company in its own entries.
  • Asking for an invitation gets an answer. The person who asks on our website or on the family's hears by mail that they are on the list, for which apps, and that we write when there is room.
  • Every app's site a click away. The footer links the family's site and each sister app's own site; the family's site links every app's site in turn.
  • Mails say whose work they are. A mail about your work reaches your clients and your people as "Your company via NDT Intact", and a reply to it goes to your company's contact address (Settings > Company), not to us.
  • Duplicate a project, an asset or a report. A project copied with its settings and, if you wish, its assets and their scope of work; an asset copied with its scope into this project or another; a report started as a copy of another, with its setup and texts and empty results. Each from the "⋯" menu of its page.
  • Filters apply as you change them. No more Filter or Search button on the tracker, the lists, the report register or the welders' period: the list follows your choice.

8 October 2026

  • Choose how your reports are numbered. Settings, Reports shows a few ways side by side, each with its first numbers made from your own projects and methods, or lets you build your own from its parts: running number, project code, client code, method, year, month, office, asset tag. A project can number its reports its own way from the same choices.
  • A code for each client, for report numbers that carry it, shown beside the client's name.
  • A client's own report numbers. A client who dictates the report number for every job can have numbering of its own, on the client's page.
  • Start where your old register left off. Choose the first number of new sequences in Settings, Reports, and see every sequence in the report register, where an owner or admin can set the next number.
  • Filter the report register by client.

7 October 2026

  • Close your account, or your company. From your account page, or for an owner from Settings, Data and region, with your password. Your access ends at once; your company's issued reports stay verifiable on their public page.
  • New legal pages: a data processing agreement and the list of providers that process data for us, linked from the foot of every page.
  • More room in the report editor on laptop screens. Up to 1440 pixels wide, the preview and sign-off panel sits under the form, so results tables fit.
  • Error pages of our own, in your language, for a missing page, a refusal or a failure on our side, with a reference to quote if you write to us.
  • What's new and help in your own menu.
  • US Letter paper and US units. An owner chooses Letter in Settings, Organisation; a report form may use inches, feet, mils, °F and psi, and thickness readings in inches are trended like any others.
  • AI use shown, and capped. Settings, AI shows how much of the month's allowance your company has used.

5 October 2026

  • One sign-in for the family of apps, at intactapps.com: sign in there and come back to the page you were on.
  • Prices per app, each further app cheaper, on one pricing page.

4 October 2026

  • Requests from your client's Weld Intra: a client who runs Weld Intra sends you NDT requests through a link you give them, and each weld's result goes back with the issued report.
  • Twenty-one interface languages: the languages oil, gas and inspection work runs in.
  • A sample report anyone can open and check with its QR code.

3 October 2026

  • Messages between your company's people, crew members included, as you work, with pictures and documents.
  • A document library: procedures, technique sheets and more, read online by those you allow, downloaded as numbered controlled copies, with revisions approved and read on record.
  • Requests you can work from: pick the welds from the tracker, mark them inspected with what was found, and move a request to the right asset.

2 October 2026

  • Scope of work: what each asset needs examined, by which method, how much and at which stage, with progress worked out from the issued reports.
  • What a request says reaches the report: welds, welders, sizes, the client's references and facts the report has no field for.

1 October 2026

  • Operations, an add-on: jobs, crews and shifts, timesheets your client signs in the portal, mobilisation checklists, and turnaround planning.
  • Offices, and groups of several legal entities on one bill.
  • A photo from your phone straight into a project's files or a draft report.
