What NDT Intact does

Everything on this page is in the application today. Each part follows the same rules: codes and numbers instead of retyped text, nothing issued changed afterwards, and a person deciding wherever AI or a check is involved.

Template import

Your own report form, read into a template you check before it is used. Your clients keep the report they know; you lose the retyping.

  • Word, Excel, PDF, OpenDocument, or a photo of the form
  • Any method or kind of inspection; a method outside our list becomes one of your own
  • Choices in the form become your own lists of codes
  • Labels matched to the NDT glossary where possible, so they translate
  • A person reviews every section and field before it is published
  • A confirmed template can become your default for its method

Report editor

One screen for the whole report: an outline, the form, and a side panel with the preview, linked files and the sign-off.

  • 23 ready-made templates, each versioned: welds by VT, PT, MT, UT, PAUT, TOFD, RT, eddy current, ACFM and vacuum box; UT thickness, lamination checks and corrosion mapping; PMI, hardness and ferrite; coating thickness and holiday tests; pressure tests; tube inspection; CP surveys; visual inspection of equipment; lifting equipment examinations
  • Completion shown per section, autosave, and a print preview per language
  • Equipment and personnel taken from your registers and frozen into the report at issue
  • Numbering by your own pattern, without gaps, and one register of every number with numbers reserved for the field
  • Separate reports per vessel or asset on a job with several, grouped under the project
  • Review by a second person required, optional or off, with signatures drawn or uploaded
  • Revisions keep the number; numbered reports are voided with a reason, never deleted

Languages

The language of the interface and the languages of a report are separate choices.

  • The interface in 30 languages, chosen by each person
  • One to four languages per report: two side by side, or one PDF per language or pair of languages
  • Right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Urdu printed the right way round
  • Numbers, dates and units printed the same way in every language of a report
  • Machine drafts of free text with the glossary as terminology, confirmed by a person
  • A line in every language stating which language prevails

Pre-issue checks

Contradictions are flagged before a report is submitted or issued. The decision stays with your people.

  • Examiner and reviewer certifications, on the dates that count
  • The calibration of each instrument on the inspection date
  • Welds and TMLs listed without a result
  • Dispositions that contradict the acceptance limits you entered
  • Required fields, and translations not yet confirmed
  • We ship no acceptance tables: you enter your own limits, and the decision stays with your Level 3

Issue and verification

Issuing freezes the report and turns it into PDFs anyone can check.

  • A PDF per edition, each with its SHA-256 fingerprint on record
  • A QR code on the PDF that opens the report's public verification page
  • The page shows whether the revision is current, superseded or withdrawn, and whether the client accepted it
  • Visitors check a PDF on their own device: only its fingerprint is sent

Client portal

Your clients get their own place, with your name on it, at no cost to them or to you.

  • On your own web address, with your logo, colour and contact details
  • Free and unlimited client logins, with single sign-on through the client's own provider if they want it
  • Issued reports, shared folders and files, and share links with a password and an expiry date
  • Comments both ways, formal acceptance, email notifications and a timeline for each report
  • Only the methods you offer, and, if you wish, the name and contact of the inspector on the job

Inspection requests

Requests arrive in one list, with what your team needs to plan the job, instead of scattered emails and callbacks.

  • Raised in the portal, by your staff, or through a form linked from your own website
  • Questions for each method: sizes and thicknesses, access, surface, extent, procedure and acceptance criteria, and more
  • One request form for all your work, or your own form per method, with your own questions
  • Your own blank form to download, or the client's document uploaded and read by AI into a proposal
  • Drawings and photos attached as PDF, JPEG or PNG
  • Taken up by a report and answered when that report is issued, with status changes your client sees

Tracker, drawings and welders

Welds and TMLs followed from request to acceptance, from the reports you already write.

  • Joints made and updated by issued reports, repairs recorded by hand
  • Filters, counts and an Excel export
  • Drawings uploaded as images, with a pin per joint coloured by its status
  • Scans linked to the weld their file name names
  • Welder repair rates by count and by length, over the period you choose
  • Released to your client per project, read-only

Handover dossier

The data book at the end of a project, built by one action.

  • A cover and an index in your organisation's language
  • Every current issued report in number order, or the ones you choose
  • The calibration certificates valid on each inspection date, and the certifications the signatures recorded
  • The tracker if you want it
  • One PDF, or a ZIP with fixed folders, kept in the project's files

Equipment and personnel

The registers your reports draw from, with warnings before anything runs out.

  • Instruments, probes, wedges and blocks with serials, calibration history and certificates
  • Equipment lists and calibration certificates read by AI into the register, after a person checks them
  • Personnel certifications by method, level and scheme, with their certificates
  • Calibrations and certifications about to expire, on the dashboard, as far ahead as you choose

Files and scan data

Scan data and documents kept with the project they belong to, and scans your client can actually look at.

  • Any kind of file; large scan files uploaded in parts, straight to storage
  • Folders per project and asset, shared with your client per folder or per file
  • Preview images and a browser viewer for .nde scan files, with no vendor software
  • Files linked to a report and listed on its PDF
  • Every download through a link that expires after five minutes, and recorded

In the field

For sites with a poor signal and jobs that do not fit a form.

  • Projects made available offline before you go; drafts kept on the device and sent on reconnect
  • A draft changed elsewhere offered back to you, never written over
  • Shareable sheets for anything the tracker does not cover, with sorting, filters and each cell's history
  • A scan plan file, such as one from NDT Insonify, filling the scan setup section after you check each field

For your IT team

The pieces a larger company or its clients ask for.

  • A read-only API and signed webhooks
  • Single sign-on through your own OpenID Connect provider, compulsory if you wish
  • Two-factor sign-in, required for everyone if you choose
  • A choice of hosting region, and an export of all your organisation's data at any time
